A dwelling at Strickland Hall has been traced back to the 1400s, with major development coming in the 1540s, upon the dissolution of the Shap Abbey. A barn was added to the property in the 1800s. Tucked away in the hamlet of Little Strickland, Strickland Hall is well situated to enjoy all types of outdoor and local pursuits.

Strickland Hall is located within a lovely hamlet on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park, near the Northern Lakes, the Fells, and the North Pennines. Little Strickland is a farming hamlet, just off the A6. It is also within easy reach of junctions 39 and 40, off the M6, and Penrith main west coast train station.
